Batu Caves
The Batu Caves have many little temples where you can have a traditional blessing from high priests. One priest blessed me and said ” very good luck” as he put the powder on me to symbolize the third eye of the lord Shiva.

Batu caves have 272 steps, we took sort of zig zag route because Maggie did not want to be near the monkeys.

Sri Mahamariamman Temple
Traditional offerings of flowers and milk are given at Hindu temples.
The Sri Mahamariamman Temple used to be a private shrine but became public in the 1920′s. It is the oldest and richest Hindu temple.
