I went to work today for about twenty minutes, realized I was inhaling contaminated air and decided to meet Richie at the beach instead. I was feeling so blah, but nothing a little bit of sun couldn’t fix. I am so happy that it did not rain today.

I met Romy and Steven on my very first trip to Chicago, when my friend Claudia was turning 21….that was 8 years ago. After that I decided to move there. I had not seen Ronen since he was a few months old, he is now 4, and Yael is 2. This is an animal farm near where they live, it was nice to see some Fall colors, and it even started to rain!
Heather and I have been friends for what I feel like is my whole life, she is more of a sister and family then just a friend. If you ever need a dress made, your hair cut, colored, an updo for a wedding, makeup done etc. and you live in Chicago, you should call Heather. She is amazing. She went thru Sebastian’s closet and took some old vintage t-shirts and is turning them into oneies for the baby. She also loves flea markets, garage sales, and estate sales, the shoes she is holding are 1940’s!
Heather and I became friends because she liked my handwriting, and years later here we are. Since I have known her she has not felt complete in her life, until now. She and Sebastian are having their first baby girl in February. My next trip to Chicago is in May, and the baby will already be 3 months old, it seems hard to imagine. If you couldn’t tell from this post, I am very excited for these new parents, and equally excited to be an Auntie.
PS… the film images are fogged and light leaked all on there own, I did not Photoshop them. The back of my camera came off again.
